CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY
15th August, the Independence Day of India, is celebrated in our school every year with much pomp and splendor. We attend the school early in the morning that day. The school building and premises are decorated beautifully with paper flags and balloons. The National Flag is hoisted in the beginning. Cultural function is held in the school with the participation of both students and teachers. Patriotic songs, dances and drama are performed to celebrate the Country's independence. Speeches are delivered and the programme ends with the singing of National Anthem. Celebrating Independence Day is very important to remind the students of the long struggle for India's Independence. Students also learn the true value of Independence and vow to honour the history and glory of the country.
